As our society continues to undergo unprecedented technological upheavals, our passions and inventions, intended to make our lives easier, sometimes become the most terrible of our nightmares. What then remains of our humanity when this passion exceeds us?
Lucioles tells us the story of two brothers who, through their passion for aviation, will encounter History with a capital H. How this brotherly relationship will evolve? How to combine ambition and ethics? How to remain in control of one’s choices when they go beyond the sphere of intimacy ?
At Rainbox Productions, we are keen to explore these complex questions that do not necessarily have a ready-made solution or answer, and yet they seem essential for us to nourish our reflection and make us more human, more ethical.
Beyond the theme of aviation, Théophile has been able to embark on his adventure with a moving accurate and mastered story, addressing deep and complex themes without losing sight of the intimate history of the two brothers.
