IK not being created, tried reinstalling

It's my first time using DuIK, and when I try to create an IK rig it does not work.
1. I press "Create" but nothing happens (It is as though I did not click the button at all)
2. I'm using AE CC 2015.0.1, is this compatible with the newest version of DuIK?
3. I did not have a preseteffects.xml file where my AE folder was installed so I had to make one, could this have any say on my problem?

Yes, it's very weird you don't have this file in your AE folder, you should ; this seems an AE related issue, not Duik, maybe you should ask on the Adobe forum.
