How to make a charakter that talks or turns

Hello,

I've seen many tutorials about rigging, maybe all :) but when it comes to animation, my charakter has to talk or turns around. How do I accomplish that?

My idea for the talking is that I rigg a composition. And in the comp I replace the closed mouth with different mouthshapes.
And when my charakter turns around, I need a complete new rigged charakter right? At least for the last position.

Any other ideas?

I'm going to try them out now :)

Hi,

You've got the right ideas. For switching the mouthshapes in the precomp, you could use the time remapping on the comp, or expressions in opacities.

We're working on a new tool called "connector" for this kind of rig, which will be included in Duik 16, but a testing version is already available with this tutorial:
