Walk cycle : heels are moving weirdly

Post by juliettemp » Sun Sep 08, 2019 11:23 pm

Hello !

I just started learning Duik Bassel. I rigged my character and everything. When I applied the walk cycle, everything was doing fine except the heels. They tend to stick weirdly on the ground. I tried to apply some puppet starch, but it did nothing...

Here is a video of how it looks like : https://youtu.be/8nk97DWUOa8

Does someone know what is wrong ?

Hi, it can be a problem caused by how you set-up the structures, just move the structures to the pivots, whether they're created one way or the other by default. If you changed some other parameters at this step, it can have affected your walk cycle.

See if this can help you : https://rainboxprod.coop/forum/viewtopi ... e34b45479b

As seems to me - u connected the tiptoes and heels to the reversed places - u have connected the tiptoe controller to the heel of puppet and heel controller to the tiptoe ;) Thats why, as for me, DUIK expressions doing bad walk, because of wrong treat of controllers.
