Rename tool question/application.

Hello everybody.
Recently Rename tool could rename pins with just a selection on a layer. Now it have to be selected all pins which I want to rename.
If you have dozen of layers and pins - it's uncomfortable now and longer. Can return the possibility of renaming by simple selection?
