Unable to execute script - line 38454. Undefined is not an object.

Post by raizenkohakus » Sun Jan 17, 2021 6:37 pm

Hi,

I have just tried installing the latest DUIK Bassel version available on the website today (17th Jan 2021) along with an up-to-date After Effects CC 2020 and sadly the script does not run.

I get the following error when I'm trying to run the script:

Unable to execute script - line 38454. Undefined is not an object.

I can confirm I've tried this with 3 different windows-based computers, After Effects CC 2019 and 2020, the issue remains the same.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer me, Kind regards.

Same here! I'm in quite the bind since I've got an urgent project due! Classic mistake to try to update in the middle of a project, but the reminder pushed for doing it ASAP and I just wasn't thinking.

Same here, both on Mac and PC:( but a previous version (16.2.15) fortunately works fine

I literally just had this issue and install version 16.2.9 and it's running great.

Hi guys,
I'm having the exact same problem. I have tried uninstalling and installing again. Installing using different methods, and every time I get the same error message.
I'm on an iMac Pro running Catalina 10.15.7, using After Effects 17.6.0.
I installed Duik Bassel.2 16.2.24 on my MacBook Pro 2 days ago (running the same OS and same version of After Effects), and I don't get that error message there... Which makes me think that the problem is on version 16.2.25
The older version keeps asking me to upgrade, but I will hold off for now.
Thanks in advance for your help!

I'm still having these issues where this error message keeps popping up! So I tried removing the script file from after effects, running after effects, putting the file back in, running it again, rinse and repeat about 5 times to no avail. Not only would it not work, but when the file was removed and after effects was running, Duik would still pop up. So to get a fresh start I tried to run the “Uninstall Duik” script included in the zip file, which gives me this error message:

Unable to execute script at line 39412. File or Folder does not exist.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
